The Rhinos were forced to postpone a game on Boxing Day for the first time since 1962 as the recent cold snap left the pitch unplayable at Headingley.
The switch in date means there will now be a cross-code double-header on January 1, provided the help of one of Premiership Rugby's three sets of pitch kits, which include hot air blowers, can help thaw out the surface in time.
Leeds Carnegie go up against Gloucester in Aviva Premiership action at 1pm before the Rhinos take on their Super League rivals at 3pm
