The former New Zealand international will not be given a squad number next season as he remains sidelined for the foreseeable future.
The 29-year-old centre has not been given a return date and is currently keeping busy in the backroom at the Galpharm Satdium.
"Jammer can't play at the moment or train fully so it's pointless giving him a squad number," said Giants managing director Richard Thewlis.
"Time is his only healer and even that has no set date as to when he will be ready to go again, if indeed at all.
"Until the physio gives him the all clear he is helping out in the office and on the training park and video suite with the younger outside backs."
